Kitesurfing lessons
my first times
Why with us?
-
Una volta finito il Corso Base, non ti lasciamo certo a metà strada: potrai continuare a contare sulla nostra presenza in spiaggia, senza dover affrontare ulteriori corsi intermedi o avanzati. Cresceremo insieme, passo dopo passo, direttamente in acqua.
-
-
Zona Kite con molto meno affollamenti: in acqua e in spiaggia.
-
Acqua meno inquinata rispetto a Fregene Nord
-

after 10 years

We offer three types of courses
for children and adults
Mini Kite Course
This is a mini introductory course to kitesurfing, designed for those curious about this sport but haven't yet had the chance to try it. Perfect for breaking the ice! In just two hours of individual lessons, using a clear and fast method, you'll be able to understand if kitesurfing is really for you... or not. But at least you'll have tried!
2. Basic Course
The Basic Kitesurfing Course is our most popular and complete course.
In 6-9 hours of private lessons and a proven method, you'll learn to handle the kite in complete safety. By the end of the course, you'll be ready to take your first independent flights and truly enjoy the water and the wind.
3. Wave & Freestyle Course
Not just twintips! Here at our spot, you can also experience true wave-style: we have passionate riders who are always ready to share their technique, flow, and energy. If you're a freestyler and want to try the waves in style, you've come to the right place. We look forward to seeing you and discovering a different side to kitesurfing!
How is the basic kitesurfing course structured?

The Basic Courselasts 7–9 hours in total, depending on your learning ability. You can complete a maximum of 2 hours per day, allowing you to assimilate everything calmly and safely.
Individual hours may last longer: we will move on to the next step only when the student is able to implement the expected goals.
1st hour
We dedicate the first half hour to theory: you learn the names and use of the equipment, how to read the wind, the rules of precedence, the basics of aerodynamics and all the fundamentals for practicing safely.
We will also see how to assemble and disassemble a kite correctly.
In the second part we start playing with the wind!
We use a simpler kite (two-line foil model) to get familiar with the bar and understand how to control the kite in the “flying window” , that is, the area where the kite moves with the wind.
2nd hour
Review of kite assembly with bar (correct assembly of the kite is essential for safety)
After assembly, we move on to practice on the ground, but this time with the 4-line inflatable kite, learning to maneuver the wing precisely in the wind window and to get to know all the emergency release systems.
From this point on, the course really gets into the swing of things. We'll use a larger kite and begin maneuvering it while staying close to the edge of the flight window. This way, the kite pulls less, but it allows us to fully understand how the bar (or boom) works and how the kite reacts to our movements. We'll also begin practicing our first changes of direction, also known as "tack changes."
3rd hour
In this phase we will learn to launch and land the kite safely, always staying on the edge of the flight window to maintain control.
Once you've gained confidence, we'll begin to use the kite with power: that is, you'll really start to feel the pull of the wind pulling you. This is when you begin to understand what it means to " let the wind carry you "!
We will correct any remaining errors or uncertainties and work on coordination.
Specifically, you'll learn to walk along the beach with the kite in flight, holding the bar with one hand and the board with the other: a useful and realistic exercise that will come in handy when, at the end of your session, you have to return to the starting point, even from land.
4th hour
In this lesson, we'll simulate board starts right on the beach. The goal is to learn the correct, precise, and coordinated movement, which will be crucial once we get into the water. Practicing on land will allow us to be prepared for the next lesson, making it much easier and more effective. This is usually the last hour spent on the beach and serves to refine what we've learned so far.
Finally we get into the water!!!
We practice the technique called " body drag" (downwind and upwind), which is the technique used to recover the board in the water. It often happens that you lose it and you need to know how to get it back.
5th hour
We start directly in the water:
Kite launches after falling into the water (with and without bottom)
Body drag repetitions and plank recovery.
We'll practice board starts, thus acquiring the knowledge and skills to be able to then do the first tacks on our own. We'll also dedicate time to relaunching the sail from the water, a fundamental operation in emergency situations.
6th hour
Self-Rescuelesson on the beach: proper winding of the bar and analysis of the different strategies to adopt based on weather conditions. There are various Self-Rescue procedures, and it's essential to know which one to apply based on the situation.
Practice Self Rescue variations in water.
Upwind exercises, one of the most important skills for those who want to go out independently, especially during the summer. We'll work on getting as close as possible to this technique, which requires a lot of practice and repetition. You'll learn how to maintain the upwind position, essential for staying on track.
7th hour
This hour is dedicated to tacking at the starts and filling gaps.
At the end of the practical course, we will provide you with personalized advice on the equipment to purchase, helping you choose the one that best suits your style and budget.
8th - 9th hour
These hours are designed for those who need further practice and still have some doubts or difficulties and want to reinforce what they learned in the previous steps.
And if, after the course, you need a hand, no problem: we'll continue to support you, without pressure.
